EBatt Systems
In 1998, in response to conversations and meetings with a wide variety of battery room operators and managers, the concept of the EBatt System was born. Battery room supervisors needed a way to track the information that would tell them how long their batteries were lasting. They needed a product that would allow battery room operations to be tracked like other facility operations.
As the discussions progressed, it became apparent that battery runtimes were not the only important piece of information necessary to make critical management decisions that affected the company's bottom line. The performance of the trucks, chargers and the operators themselves have a significant impact on how efficiently the motive power asset system worked as a whole.
Detailed information and trend analysis was also very important to management on the corporate level to track and direct changes in operations to maximize profits.
EBatt Systems was conceived and developed to address these very real needs. Over the years, the EBatt System has grown from a simple FIFO (First In, First Out) based application with few reports to a system that interfaces directly with the chargers and generates over 150 standard reports.
